WHAT IS IMPORTANT
Normal people. Normal lives.
Walking around in a city, grey like an elephant’s skin
The only animal encounter being disrupting flies
The best thing to buy is Gin
No one notices. No one cares. That a different world is just around the corner
A world, where a phone would look lost
Lost in the green grass and trees
Where no one bothers how much any of this will cost No electricity around, so you might freeze
Streets turn into paths, lamps into the sun and the forgotten stuffed animals turn real
Like woods of ivory,
Like flames lighting up,
Like nature’s libary
Yellow like a buttercup
The world in every colour
Big or small, thick or thin
Everyone has a home here
You see the birds fly and the tigers grin
Claws are scratching and blood is flowing, but do not fear For everyone is right where they belong
It is not always quiet, but you’ll find peace here, they say Then why do I hear yachts blasting, motors roaring?
See trees being cut cut and wildlife fleeing in a single day in May?
Politicans find everything here way too boring
Forests are now fields or luxury hotels and the sea becomes a land filled with plastic
So forget, people, about these places
See it as just another source of money
Turn to your normal life and only worry about getting braces
Eat the kangaroo, but keep the bunny
And think that the most important thing in life is you
